Diabetes in the headlines…

Just thought I’d share this article I just read on the bbc. Absolutely shocking that this could happen, and highlights the importance of raising awareness of the causes and treatment of type 1 diabetes. It’s difficult to see how someone could be misinformed to the point of death, but I suppose it shows people can be vulnerable to misinformation.

Ah thanks, I hadn’t spotted that! Will have a read.

Hopefully the verdict will usher in some change or regulation.
