Actually, if you look at the top of the forum screen you'll see a menu item 'Resources' with a drop-down list - one of the options is 'How we help' 🙂 The difficulty with pinning things that are considered important is that you can end up with loads of things being pinned, and the Links section itself is for things that are considered important, so it's hard to define what gets pinned and what doesn't! 🙂

I never knew that, so I just tried it. Nothing drops down from Resources for me, it just takes me to the home page. I’m on an ipad, maybe that’s why.
Edit, the Home page for me is actually the same as the 'Forums' page, which is the same as what 'resources' takes me to.

Same for my tablet too!

Ah! You have to click on the little arrow on the right-hand side of 'Resources' to get the list to drop down 🙂
 
@Northerner. Nothing dropped down for me either until you mentioned the little arrow ~ and by gum it is a tiny tiny arrow ~ I had trouble tapping on it with my sausage index finger🙄:(🙂:D

Further research. When you click on Resources from another page, (eg, the New Threads, ie, anything other than the home page.) You see the arrow, as it lights up pale blue, but if you click on the arrow then, it doesn’t drop down, it reverts to dark blue and takes you to the home page. Then you have to click on 'resources' again, and this time when you click the little arrow, the drop down list appears.
 
Goodness! What a pain! I'd never really used it, was just aware of when it was put into the forum 🙄 It might not be possible to make it easier, because I think it is probably part of the (third-party) software used. I have pointed out some things in the past that can be much more difficult when you are poking the device in the eye as opposed to using a mouse or other pointing device, I'll make a note of this.
 
Just discovered if you click on Diabetes UK logo near top left of each page , amongst other info there is the helpline number

I'm on pc at the moment; with mouse. If you hover over Resources a drop down menu appears.
Just tried on a Android tablet (not logged in). If you hit Resources in the middle, it takes you to the forums home page. If you hit the right hand end, it gives the drop down menu instead.

Thanks @wirralass and @Ljc - thanks for sharing the Helpline numbers. Its helpful to read your experiences of using the tab with a device rather than a PC as well. We hope to update these tabs and links to make some of the information more relevant and easily accessible, as well as making our Helpline number more visible.
The small arrow that you mention is (as @Northerner has mentioned) currently part of the software. But it is great to know what we could improve on. We'll keep a note of this for future developments.

If there are any other parts of the forum's features that you find tricky, do let us know, it's great to get your insight. 🙂
