Hi @CathyFP i am pleased that you now have access to the specialist team via a phone number. That is what I have although I can also email them. If it is urgent they get back to me very quickly, otherwise they answer within a couple of days. I usually email if I can as it gives them time to find out the answers to my questions where necessary.

In my early appointments , when there was so much to take in, I always went with a list of questions, and I was encouraged to have someone else with me who could take notes and tick off when questions on the list were answered. They were then able to prompt an6 that I had forgotten. I know that as my understanding has increased I am able to make better use of the time, but that is very difficult at the start when there is so much to learn.16 years in my consultant still starts by asking me what questions I have, so it feels very much My appointment rather than him checking up on me.

There is a wealth of practical knowledge on here. Keep the questions coming and people will help in any way that they can.
