LEOMINSTER -- Jen Albert is working the circuit of fairs and fundraisers in order to build a network of supporters to help her raise money in the fight against diabetes.
Albert's son, Logan Saranovitz, 14, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes just before his 12th birthday.
Albert put together a team of about 18 walkers last spring to take part in the Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes at UMass Medical School on Sept. 28. She is hosting her second annual fundraiser supper at the Knight of Columbus on Sept. 18.

Just realised this is USA - the early settlers really had no imagination when it came to naming their towns did they? 🙄
