OK -weird stuff going on again

K feeling bit under the weather and achy on Sunday, numbers in the low teens, must be a cold coming, no Keyones to speak of (0.1).

Woke up Monday Morning 12.3 (oops!), still achy, lunch time 10.8, tea time 16.8 cold and shivery, still eating, bedtime 17.6 (but keytones 0.0 ). K said she would have an extra Levemir to keep down a bit next day (today) so she did.

Was dreading this morning as thought she would be too ill for school and her attendance is so bad they are not very happy if she is physically too ill to go in :( (not sure they believe me)

But - K woke up at 4.8 this morning - ' Oo I think my colds much better', lunch time she was 4 (!), teatime (had snack no insulin @ 4pm) 8.1. Just tested before bed @ 12.7:confused:

Don't know if she should have the extra unit Levemir tonight as well or not?

Think I should take away a certain fairy's wand if she doesn't behave:D

Oh no! And good she's better!
I've got Carol home poorly today, she says she feels sick.
Yesterday, she felt poorly, was high all day, but went to school. Today her levels are below 5 (testing ever 2 hours, but not eating), feels horrid and has now been sleeping for 2 hours.

It always puts the wind up me when my son starts sleeping more than usual, but with him that's normally because he is too high. I guess getting low you will be sleepy too due to lack of energy. It's a horrible time of year for bugs, my lad has another cold, though mild this time, he has had 8, yes 8, since he was diagnosed 13 months ago! This is a boy who used to get the odd mild one once every 2-3 years. Luckily, apart from that, he doesn't seem to catch any of the other nasty bugs that come and go, so fingers crossed.

Hope all your offspring feel better soon, and you don't catch the dreaded lurgy off them!

I don't know what it is that Carol has, but at random times she gets tummy aches, but is never sick. And her blood's always fine....
I have started to suspect she's faking, but I don't think she is this time. But why o why is she always poorly when I have appointments for myself??????
I'm supposed to go and see the nurse about my ears late this afternoon. I haven't cancelled yet in the hope Carol will perk up, as she usually does. Unfortunately she hasn't perked up yet, which makes me think she won't.....

O Monica sorry about Carol, hope she has improved and you can go to your appointment:(

K decided herself (!) that she would stick with the extra Levimir again last night and she woke up with a reading of about 6 (don't have meter here at school) She says her cold is gone but she sounded really nasal this morning:confused: Aches gone and feeling quite cheerful - councelling session at school this morning so will see what she is like when she gets home😉

Dont know what she had but seems like it's gone now🙂

Oh, that's who's been at our house! Thought I'd nicked that wand...

I made it to my appointment, thanks. Carol started to perk up at about 2ish and had some toast.

I hope the councelling session went well 🙂
