This dietary advice sheet gives some general information to help you make the recommended changes to your diet. If you need more detailed advice or if you are following a special diet that makes it difficult to make these changes, please ask your doctor to refer you to a registered dietitian.

but eating starchy food got me diabetic. I wish I'd been told to go low carb.

Well each of their portions on there is approx 10g carbs, isn't it - 2 cream crackers which are 5g apiece, 2 crispbreads - sesame Ryvita are 6g each, 2 little teeny spuds c.5 or 6g each. Says try to eat between 5 and 8 portions a day - so that's 50 to 80 of carb.

Have to say - that IS low carb in my book.
