Zaiya Fisher, 4, is eager to return to school to play with her friends, but her family says she was excluded from an eManzimtoti pre-primary because she is a Type 1 diabetic.
Her mother, Paula Fisher, said Zaiya had been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in December last year. She had enrolled Zaiya at Moyeni Pre-primary this year, informing the principal of the diagnosis.
