Diabetes sufferers in Dovercourt will be able to tell the NHS exactly what service they require.
NHS North Essex has joined forces with Diabetes UK?s Eastern Region to hold a series of discussion events, including one at the Royal Oak Inn, Main Road on May 10 from 9.30am until 4pm.
Dr Jo Broadbent, consultant in public health for NHS North Essex, said: ?We want to improve how diabetes services are co-ordinated by commissioning an integrated service.
?This will result in more patient-centred care, and much better links between all the different services and organisations that provide diabetes care.
