I don't know what I'm going to do if she doesn't have some useful suggestions so I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Let's hope it's something she has come across before and will have some useful suggestions for! 🙂 Have you considered asking if they will fund sensors for you? It would at least give you some warning of trends - worth a try 🙂

Thanks Northerner. I did ask about sensors before but they said that there was absolutely no way that they would get them for individual people - the consultant did't think it would be fair for those who hadn't got them. With the way that my sugars have been so erratic I had been thinking about getting a CFM myself but I can't afford the sensors now that I'm not working:(. I just so hope that she has got some useful suggestions, I dont know what to do if she can't help.
