AMBITIOUS plans to build a state-of-the-art centre at the George Eliot Hospital have been announced.
The Nuneaton NHS Trust wants to house a brand new Diabetes Education and Research Centre within its grounds.
The new build has an estimated price tag of ?2million and events are now being organised to help hit the target to boost care for those with the condition and raise awareness about the potentially deadly disease.
The condition affects more than 10,000 people living in the Nuneaton, Bedworth and North Warwickshire area.
