p.s Could a moderator amend my spelling of the word diabetes in the thread title

Cheers

Can't edit the title Steffi, but I'm sure all will know what you mean and hopefully follow the link to do the quiz.

Nothing I know of happening round here but nothing new there.

My area is very slow, if someone was organisig a party in a pub it wouldn't happen because it would always be someone elses job to do it!

my sons school is holding a non uniform day 50p each and then asking parents to donate cake and biscuts to sell after school

Did anyone join in on twitter Alan did it go ok

Morning,

Not sure if anyone from here joined in, but the Twitter chat did seem to go rather well. 261 uses of the #dukchat hashtag and we responded to more than 40 questions in the hour, which we're rather pleased with. Not seen any negative comments (touch wood!) and we seem to have addressed everyone's questions, which is pleasing!

Facebook chat takes place on our page today at 12:30 - hoping it goes as smoothly as the one on Twitter.

We have discussed trying something similar on this forum, but I'm not sure whether it's the best thing to do. What do people think? Would you find it useful?

Joe
