The Canadian Diabetes Association is offering Canadians the opportunity to apply for a free blood glucose monitoring kit through their Compassionate Use Program.
The Compassionate Use Program is available to assist Canadians who are having difficulty affording their blood glucose monitoring supplies.
These free kits consist of: 1 OneTouch? UltraMini? System, 300 OneTouch? Ultra? Blue Test Strips and 300 OneTouch? Delica? Lancets.
People with diabetes usually incur medical costs that are much higher than people without diabetes, a press release from the organization said.
