Hello,

I just recently saw this article/press release, I did a quick search and it didn't seem to be in the news/forums already. For diabetics using the Roche pumps (most likely the Accu-check Combo type) it does look like at least in the US they might get CGMS as a possibility. Not sure what it means for the UK pumps and/or Dexcom CGMS but one can hope that it might get that combination over here as well. If this is the wrong forum please relocate it.

Fingers Crossed 🙂

Thanks,

Be very interesting to see if UK hospitals drop the Roche pump once it has CGMS on the grounds that we may 'qualify' for a pump but not meet the even stricter guidelines for CGMS.

Or where pumpers do qualify fro CGMS, if they will be prepared to use the Roche for that.

Perhaps - since I'm a Roche Combo user - I'll find out in approx 3 years time!
