Dexcom one on samsung watch 4

I wondered if anyone has found a way for this to work - Dexcom one readings on my samsung watch 4

I was under the impression that one of the limitations introduced to Dex One (to keep the cost down) was to remove the ability to connect to smartwatches?

Reddit suggests you may be able to get the watch to echo alerts sent to the phone?

I can’t get the dexcom one app notifications to appear on my Fitbit but Shuggah app ones do (iPhone and Fitbit charge 4).
