I am having to decide on a new pump and wondered if anyone is using either g7 or libre 3 in conjunction with a pump. I can not see on ypsomed or tslim websites that they are compatible. I am using libre at the moment but not the libre3. I read a while ago ypsomed were going to join libre3 but can not see any info about it and nothing about g7 compatibility for ypsomed or tslim. Does anyone use libre3 and is it a big advantage over early libre sensors. I am not sure if funding would cover libre3 or g7 but curious about the advantage and connectability with pumps etc. Thanks

The Tandem tSlim is only currently compatible with the Dexcom G6.

It is a pump where you can upgrade the software, so they may develop a version of the pump software which works with G7, but I’ve not heard anything about that yet.

It’s a bit unfortunate as a self-funder because the G7 is cheaper than the G6, but there’s nothing I can do until the pump software is available to make it work with the new sensor.

I much prefer living with a sensor-augmented / hybrid closed loop pump, and would feel disappointed to have to return to a separate pump and sensor combo that don’t speak to each other.

Thanks for the information. I am looking at the libre 3 or dexcom g7 and if they have big advantages on the libre 2. I guess even if the new pump does not actually loop with either it is possible they might later. I am happy with the libre but the diabetes team seem to think the dexcom and libre 3 are improvements and so i am looking in to them.
