Hi
My Diabetes team are putting in an IFA to my CCG for a dexcom. I’ve been asked if the application is successful would I prefer a dexcom 4 or dexcom 5.
My initial thought is the dexcom 5 as I could use it without carrying a scanner around with me and use my mobile phone. However, as it’s a Bluetooth transmitter I am guessing I will need to have my phone’s Bluetooth on all the time and this will drain my phone battery. I have an iphone7 at the moment.
Can anyone using a dexcom 4 or 5 share their views and experiences of using their dexcom?
Many Thanks
Nikki
