The annual Garrison Five Miler will take place on September 14 and the organisers are hoping for a big turnout once again to raise money for Diabetes UK. Organised by Devenish GAA club the third annual five miler will this year raise money for Diabetes UK, a charity close to the heart of the community. A number of people associated with the club have diabetes, both Type 1 and Type 2 and those at the club know that perfectly healthy and fit individuals can be diagnosed. In the Fermanagh senior ranks Eoin Donnelly has type 1 diabetes and it is through the good work of organisations such as Diabetes UK that treatments continue to advance.
