Husband hates swede. Small freshly caught sea bass is great baked whole, and I wouldn't kill the delicate flsh flavour (or anything else) with fennel or anything whatsoever with a hint (or more Yuk) of aniseed. Loathe it. Not as violently as No1 daughter - who even hates the teeny amount of tarragon in (properly made) sauce tartare.
