I went on my Desmond course yesterday, it was interesting and useful, though I think something?s got skimmed over and something went into too much detail and lost me a bit.
Several members of group were more than 50 years older than me (no exaggeration, so how they coped with taking in that, from a speaker that wasn't facing us, talking too fast and laying out coffee cups at the same time, I don?t know, but that was more speaker habits rather than the curriculum.
Was very surprised that they had our own test result waiting for us, but all in all I think I was definitely worth going, because its kicked the apathy out of me and specially as I cant tolerate statins its made me realise I've got to do some thing about the LDL that I literally couldn't plot on the chart as the scale didn't go up that far !!!!
went shopping afterward for wholegrain bread, fruit, sardines ...........
