As part of my determination to get fit; lose weight and take better care of myself. Had a dental appointment today; first in about 5 years 🙄 I was convinced I'd come away with a list as long as my arm; and having to rob a bank to fund it. Pleasantly suprised only need 2 fillings (precaution) and a clean. The appointment itself wasn't as bad as I thought...🙂

Not cheap though at ?107 (for all treatment including examination/x-rays today) but worth it now that I'm going to be sitting back in the dentist's chair. 😱

Now for my first swimming lesson on Thursday 😱

Good for you Amanda! Glad to hear it's not as bad as you feared 🙂 Keep up the positivity, it's infectious! 🙂

Hi Amanda. Glad it wasn't as bad as you thought (except the pain in the purse dept ha ha!!). Hope Thursday goes swimmingly well for you! Will be thinking of you:D Katiexx

One not so fun thing down, one more fun thing to go on Thursday - enjoy yourself in the pool.

I'm glad the dental appointment wasn't as bad as you thought, it's always an added bonus when that happens.

I just had my check up the other day as well. First time in a while I didn't actually need any work doing. I have such rubbish teeth. I brush twice a day and floss, but I still have more fillings than I can remember :(
I always go for white fillings now as I have that many I don't want my whole mouth to be silver by the time they've finished. Unfortunately costs a lot more, but worth it in the end I think.

Keep up the good work Amanda, I'm of to Guys hospital today because of teeth and gum problems, it's my 3rd visit. It was suggested that I could of had treatment at my own Dentist, but because of the amount of treatment I would of had, I would had go private and as I am unemployed I can't afford it and Guys is free, but it involves a train and the underground.
I hope you enjoy your first swimming lesson. best wishes Sheena
