The Brighton Marathon registration deadline, on 28 February, is fast approaching and Diabetes UK has some of the last few places available and I am writing to ask readers to be part of something great and join our running team for the fundraising event on 6 April.
Now one of the top sporting events across the UK, the race route goes through some of the city?s most iconic sights starting with a loop of Preston Park, and then takes in the city centre, Brighton Pavilion and stretches of coastal road finishing at Madeira Drive, just east of the brilliant Brighton Pier.
