Posting this here as not really "In the News" but I find the following an interesting read

http://www.mendosa.com/

The author has Type 2 and is referred to as a source in Gretchen Becker's book on "Type 2 diabetes - the first year"

You can sign up for an e-newsletter - the most recent one includes items on

- glucose trumps fructose
- emotional diabetes
- shame

Close links to Bernstein's approach with low carb philosophy and I read it with "a pinch of salt" philosophy and an open mind

Be interested to know if any of you find his info helpful or confusing

I've been reading Mendosa's stuff for 5 years. Always informative and helpful IMHO. Along with Gretchen and Jenny Ruhls contributions to various sites, they make up my top 3 "reads".
