Dash omnipod question

I received an omnipod in December sometimes it works perfectly and I have a normal blood sugar but during the night I get really high bs last night 240 and gave myself a 2 unit bolus and then at 5a.m 400 and gave myself another 3 units and when I got up it had only gone down to 290 as I wanted breakfast I gave myself 7 units. I know some sites are better than others usually stomach is best and I always pinch up. I have been leaving the deactivated pod on for a few hours because of any residue. The nurse set my basals for during day and night. Has anyone had problems with high bs during the night?
