Hi all. My GP has started me on 10mg dapagliflozin as my HbA1c has been hovering in the 70s for a while, I started it last Thursday. I'm also on metformin and sitagliptin. He warned me it could cause thrush, but that was all he memtioned. I have found myself quite thirsty and peeing a lot more which I now know are side effects of the drug, but tonight I discovered a fairly painful thrush type rash under my stomach (I am overweight but I always try to look after my skin in danger areas). Is this kind of thrush kind of common with this drug? I expected genital thrush, but not this. I have clotrimazole on hand for it, but it came up pretty quickly after starting it.
