I see Richard Lane of Diabetes UK has given an interview about his diabetes and islet transplant 30 min operation in today's Daily Mail. Especially liked the picture of the syringe used to give insulin injections. You'd think they could have used a modern insulin pen. Interesting to see what you all think!

If I knew how, I'd post a link, sorry not totally computer literate!!

LOL! Yep, afraid i got on my soapbox a little! My comment is on it, the article at first stated that insulin injections control their diabetes and prevent dangerous hypoglycaemic attacks - EEK!!!

Then there is this magic meter that tests your blood and tells you how much insulin to give?!!?

Yay! lol! Got a bit carried away, actually that was my subdued response, they wouldn't have printed my first one 😉
