Got it on 3rd September so not long to wait now!!!

I can't wait because since moving to Levemir on 2nd July i've been struggling to get my levels back to a good standard, generally they are too high.

I may have finally figured out the doses for the Levemir because the past two days have been good, but I don't want to jinx it.

Firstly - well done for working out your doses! It can be quite a challenge!

I did the DAFNE course back in 2009 and I highly recommend it. I'm sure you'll get a lot out of it like I did. 🙂

I'm on Levemir too! :D Are you a fairly active person or is it just what you have been put on? I was moved on to it from Lantus.

I think my dose are now 10/14 but it may change to 10/13, but basically things seem to be good now so fingers crossed.

I've been waiting for DAFNE for the past 2 years and i've heard good things from people that have been on it. The only annoying thing is that I have to have a blood test before i go and my Hba1c isn't going to be as good as it was because of my recent change in insulin and routine.

I'm not overly active. I was moved from Lantus also, and I think that was to prepare me for DAFNE and to improve my control even more.

I see. Fair enough. 🙂

I wouldn't worry too much about the HbA1c result - if anything, the comparison with the post-course meeting HbA1c test will help show how well you've done.

I've got to update my signature... yesterday I changed my evening to 20 so it's now 11/20. I'll update that now... before I forget. XD
