Shaking but dad is going to take a sprint outside in the rain

Excellent result Pippin ! :D

Congrats to both of you. As long as he doesn't go for a celebratory streak 😱

Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your success. It gives hope to us all. 🙂

Good job, well done DAD.........🙂

Well done 🙂

That's a fantastic result Pippin! Very well done to you and your dad. I know how hard you work to keep him well, and that result shows it. Maybe you can stop worrying so much now you know how brilliantly you are doing. 🙂 XXXXX

Pippin thats a brillaint result well done to your dad and to yourself hun xx

Thank you everyone I am so pleased as dad worked so hard when he saw just what effect food has on his BG levels. The monitor was the best thing for us and I don't have any doubt the only way I learnt to help with food etc was via the advice on this forum *genuinely* no doubt whatsoever!

The advice given via the normal route wasn't as in depth as advice from people on this forum who have or care for people with diabetes. I will buy even more test strips if they ever deny them completely!

It is due to this forum I can smile today and dad (not streaking lol) is walking up and down the corridor with a rucksack on his back as the rain got too heavy!

The support up here is the best! xx

Our thanks to everyone here 🙂 last week dad couldn't walk but today he has a spring in his step although we know blips will happen we will still maintain the diet/execrise as much as we can. This has been a week of ups and downs!

It was good to fill in the details and see the number go down a little

We learn from all of you x
