An Oxfordshire man whose daughter has Type 1 diabetes will be swimming to France as part of a relay team raising funds for Diabetes UK.
Matt Wistow, from Banbury, is among 30 people taking part in the Channel Challenge 2012 to support the work of the charity which helps people with diabetes and campaigns on their behalf.
The business development director will be part of the team attempting to swim from Dover to Cap Griz Nez, in France, between August 17 and 24.
