I have a spare 5 minutes so I thought I would update you all!
Levels have not been great recently, particularly after my spain trip! Think I am still in recovery mode. Found out that my insulin cartridges had gone corrupt during travelling there so i'm on my flexpens at the moment. Currently taking a bit more insulin than I am used to which I am not happy about, sometimes I will inject before bed too as levels float around 11 - 13 a lot but it is having no difference on my morning levels.
This week hasn't been brilliant and I doubt neither will the following weeks be... it's exam time! I have been at home this week which is always more difficult as i'm not eating my preferred foods. So typically i'm sitting around revising and it is taking it's toll.
Need to put in a prescription for test strips, needles and insulin cartridges to stock up on at some point this week. I am down to about 7 strips, opps. My meters even running out of battery.
I'm also planning on talking with my doctor about switching my endo to one at Royal Berks Hospital. I'm only there for another year now but I feel as though I am not getting good care where I currently am, they want me to do better but aren't assessing the problems or taking into account other factors! RBH also have a 16 - 25 diabetic clinic so that will be ideal, I don't think I see another person under 25 when I go to mine!
Anyway, i'm train travelling this afternoon back to uni so better be off!
