Prague - Czech President Milos Zeman has mild diabetes, Health Minister Martin Holcat told CTK today, adding that the team of Zeman?s doctors, which he heads, will present more information about Zeman?s health condition at a press conference on Friday.

President Zeman suffers from nerve disease related to diabetes

Czech President Milos Zeman, 68, suffers from a nervous system disease afflicting his feet that is related to the type two diabetes and he is undergoing a moderately intense treatment, members of his medical council told reporters Friday.

Zeman is taking medicines. His doctors also recommend that he reduce his overweight and smoking and do some physical exercises.

Due to the nerve disease Zeman feels his feet worse, which has been the cause of his walking problems.
