A determined cyclist will undertake an epic 2,500km bike ride across Europe for a diabetic charity.
Sarah Rixon sets off tomorrow on a journey which will take her from her home in South Street, Comberton, all the way to Lisbon in the space of 10 weeks.
The adventurous 44-year-old, known as Rixy to her friends, has a track record of extreme expeditions, having climbed to Everest Base Camp, crossed the Sahara twice in a converted Land Rover and canoed down the Zambezi River.
Through this latest challenge Sarah is raising money for Diabetes UK ? a cause close to her heart, having lost her mother and a close friend to diabetes-related complications.
