Children with Diabetes are hoping to hold a conference in Glasgow in 2013, a year from now! (April 5-7th 2013) They have held their UK conference in Windsor for the last 3 years and the 4th annual conference this November was sold out in a few hours.

If you are interested in attending the conference in Glasgow the first step is to contact Laura - Laura.billetdeaux@childrenwithdiabetes.com to be added to the Glasgow 2013 mailing list. This is where Laura will provide us with updates as the conference develops and let us know when registration will open. This is the report from the first UK FFL in 2009, Marc is bottom right!

Please pass this on to anyone who may be interested.

Hope to see a lot of you there!

Good luck Aileen, I hope it's as popular as the others have been! Does this mean that there will be two conferences in 2013, one in Scotland and one in England, or just the one in Glasgow?

Thanks 🙂

This is what Laura who organises the conferences said ...

Not sure what will happen re: Windsor yet. If the conference sponsors have the funds to support two conferences, then they will have both Glasgow and Windsor in 2013. If there is only funding for one conference, it will be in Glasgow. We feel strongly about being in Scotland at a time when children are just beginning to receive coverage for insulin pumps and families need support and education. The dates to coincide with spring break in Scotland.
