hi im on 80 mil of gliclazide as a newby .is there an advantage to halfing the dose with my lunch and dinner rather than eating it all at 5 pm .wud it help ?

Gliclazide can be in two different forms, standard and slow release however it says usually if taking only 80mg then you take once a day either with breakfast OR with dinner. If slow release then you shouldn't cut in half anyway but taking doses too close together would not be a good idea.
