I am so glad they were able to see you today. I've got everything crossed that your toe heals without playing silly bu***rs beforhand

Thank you Lin x

Hi. How is your toe doing.

Hi AJ just read your thread - sorry to see you cut your toe and hope it is healing well now. I keep in a spray elastoplast - it can be sprayed on to a cut or nasty graze - it forms a film over the cut & gives immediate protection and helps to prevent dirt and/or bacteria. If I cut myself ...I clean the area by dabbing gently - pat it dry and then spray the solution on to the cut or grazed area - have to say it stings for a second or two but that eases off as the film dries - if you need to, a second application can be sprayed on the cut area. I would suggest that you speak to your nurse before using it - in any event it always handy to keep a spray elastoplast in your first aid kit in case you cut yourself - not necessarily on your feet. Pharmacies stock them as to do Asda, their own brand. Take care of that foot of yours AJ & I hope it heals without complications. x

Thank you Lin and Wirralass. Mark said that my toe looks less red now which I'm really pleased about. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm just very paranoid happening to my toes/feet after 46 years of diabetic sugars battering them. The podiatrist said it was always best to get anything checked them. In the meantime it's good to soak in salt water 🙂

It's good to hear it's not so red, that is a good sign.

Thank you Lin

Nothing wrong with being extra cautious AJ...taking good care of those pinkies...and yourself...sounds like that toe is behaving itself...big thumbs to that!
