Ok so I really don't or rarely eat sweets at all anymore (not that i did much anyway prior) but one of the online shops I used to visit sold some great retro stuff.

Jelly Bears and Wrigglers being my fav, I found these on their site today.

Now, anything sugar free to me indicates its full of aspartmine or whatever, so is it safe to presume this little gems are as bad as before?

Comments welcome, as my levels are way down now and under control I'm juggling trying some to test but the guilty, safe side of me says 'Just Don't! 🙂

I would say that they are fine to eat, but heed the warning about the laxative effect - this almost certainly means they contain polyols that can have an unfortunate effect! How much of an effect varies from person to person though, so you'd need to experiment! I'm a little surprised at the 'no carbs' statement - most sugar free things contain carbs, but very slow-release so they have a negligible effect on levels.
