A film set to be shown at BlueLight Cinemas in Cupertino will help steady families and individuals whose lives have been greatly affected by a lifelong condition that is sometimes overshadowed by type 2 diabetes.
Carb DM, whose motto is "seize diabetes," is hosting the Silicon Valley premiere of DxOne, an 18-minute film about a family coping and coming to terms with their son's type 1 diabetes diagnosis. The screening is aimed at those with type 1 diabetes and for the uninitiated to get a glimpse into what life with diabetes is truly like.
