A PAMPHLET sent out to thousands of Derbyshire diabetics ? explaining how health checks on their eyes could save their sight ? has won a national award.
Health trust NHS Derbyshire County sent the pamphlet to 50,000 people in the county between September 2006 and April 2012.
And it has now won a Plain English Campaign award, after one of its recipients nominated it for being "well-written" and "free of medical jargon".
The campaign chose the health trust for its award. praising its "crystal-clear communication".
