Relationship to Diabetes

So I've been sticking religiously to the T2D pathway shake diet for four weeks, now in week five.
The only deviations have been the occasional two grapes or four nuts.
But tonight I had a small bowl of salad, chunks of cucumber, celery, green pepper, lettuce leaves, a slice up pickled onion (small silver skin), a couple of sugar snap peas, three small plum tomatoes, and a very small drizzle of salad cream.
It was f**king amazing!
Am I going to hell?

I am guessing that is what they mean by the program resetting your relationship with food. Could you imagine describing your enjoyment of such a simple salad like that 6 months ago!

So pleased you enjoyed it and hopefully a couple of Hail Mary's to your program coach will exonerate you!

Lol, TBH I've always loved salads and veg in general. I would imagine that most people crack at some point and fall off the wagon. I'd be amazed if people went the whole 12 weeks without any deviations at all from the very strict diet?
I'm sort of pleased that it was only a salad, not a trip to Maccy D's or the chip shop!
But I'm back on the program, just a small blip, gave myself a smack on the wrist, naughty boy!

Nothing wrong with a salad! You can make them quite interesting with loads of low carb options, boiled eggs, avocados, ham off cuts, olives, tined fish etc! Fill your boots!
 
Since the road to hell is paved with good intentions that transgression scarcely represents a grain of grit, as far as I'm concerned! 🙂🙂🙂

The very fact you feel that having a small salad is falling off the T2D pathway shows how far you have come in your diabetes journey. Let go of the guilt, Old Nick is not waiting for you. Salad sounded so much nicer than the shakes....You are hereby fully absolved :thankyou::rofl:
