Just got back from a week-end in Carnac. Husband was playing golf in a society and again today so I'm pleased he is out and exercising (and out of my hair).

Tried to find somewhere nice to eat but all we could find were cr?peries! No good at all for my husband and anyway they are c**p! Peasant food!! There were quite a lot of 'seafood restaurants' but we get plenty of that round here and a lot cheaper.

I don't mind a gallette (savoury pancake) or omelette occaisionally but I'm not paying tourist prices for something I can make indoors.

We ended up paying quite a lot for a fairly ordinary meal. Anyway, not really moaning as the stone alignments were incredible. If any of you haven't been yet do go if you get the chance, the number, size and scale of them all is awesome.

Tell me about it!!!
We went to a coastal resort in France last summer. I lived on crepes. We did go to different restaurants, but they didn't taste all that. Carol had Pizza every time and Fi had chips. We went to a pizzeria once and they didn't even have diet coke😱(Carol won't entertain the idea of drinking water)
