That’s fine, just as long as the subsidy of the Omicron wave isn’t due to those Covid passes being effective.
I’ve had to show my Covid pass to get in to Ewood Park to watch the Rovers, and seen people being turned away for not having one. If all those people come in, that wave could get reinforced with positive infection. Even though that may only cause minor illness, it will show positive on PCR tests, with all that entails. So I think that saying the Covid Pass could be abandoned in two weeks is probably a mistake - what do the epidemiologist folk say? Is this a medical decision or simply a political one? I wouldn’t trust any of the morons who constitute the current government for advice.
