Covid and flu jab

Hello,

I am due for my annual covid and flu jab.

The only difference this year is that I am on low carbs, does anyone know if it has made a difference in any way?

Not sure if you are asking about the covid flu jab making a difference or the low carbs?

I can definitely say low or lower carbs do make a difference to blood glucose levels.

I have had flu jab this year, no prob with that. I opted to forego the covid jab this year after finding out more about the RNA vaccines, I did have both jabs last year in the same arm, I didn't like that much and I recall felt really tired for a few days after. My brother had both in same arm this year and he didn't feel too good a few days after.

I've never had covid myself, but I have known people who have had the covid vaccines and still get covid.

I think in the end we need to do what we feel personally is best for us as individuals.

I had both a couple of weeks apart and didn't notice anything different although I've not had the Moderna covid vaccines before and did have slightly worse symptoms than other ones. A work friend who had both together did feel pretty grotty for a week without him being on anything special in terms of meds or diet.

I had both flu and covid jabs on the same day (and the same arm).
They made no difference to my BG.

However, others I know struggled.
It seems like one of those things you cannot predict. Not even if you have had jabs previously because they vary each year to protect against different variants.

Sorry to clarify I will be having both the Covid vaccine and also the flu jab at the same time and am happy to do this.

It is just my diet has changed to low carbs and wondering if someone who has had both and on low carbs their experience whether it was good, bad or made no difference, to their health or BG. Thanks

Made no difference to me, no effect from the vaccines.
No real reason why it should but it does for some people regardless of what diet.

I had both together in the same arm and had no side effects other than a slightly sore arm for a day or so. Last year my arm hurt a lot more but still no other side effects.

The preference seems to be one in each arm in case you have a reaction. If they are done in the same arm it is harder to see which one your body disliked. But, with one sub-par arm, I did not want to knacker my other one so they obliged in one arm but as far apart as possible.
I look forward to a combined jab in the future.
