Does anyone have one of these that they have to do regularly because of work?

Yes, my daughter and I are having to do them twice a week, what questions do you have?

We all do 2 a week. I haven't been told by work I have to, but advised to as I work in Children's residential care.

I have to do mine twice a week - Sunday & Wednesday. Can they be done at any time of the day? I did mine this morning

I was told to do mine in the early evening, that’s just what my employer has told me to do though. My daughter’s school seem a bit less fussy. So unless whoever you are doing them for has given you any specific instructions then I don’t think it matters what time you do them. Don’t eat or drink anything for half an hour immediately before the test though because it might affect the result.

I've not been given any specific instructions

I've not been given any specific instructions
There’s an instruction booklet in the box of mine, have you read that? Should tell you all you need to do to take the test.

I test twice a week, I work in a surgery. Wasn’t told not to eat beforehand but to test Sunday and Wednesday evening.

Hi @Lucyr I've read the instruction booklet which came with mine and there is nothing about any times

I do my around 7pm on a Sunday (oh! now then) and Wednesday and then record the results on our own NHS Trust website. My colleagues & I haven't been told which day or what time to do just to space it out in the week and not do them if off work.

My daughter does hers in the evening too.

We have to do 2 per week before a shift. To save having to get up at 5.30 to do it along with everything else before I get out of the door I do mine the evening before. No one said how long before a shift did they?

I do 2 per week plus a pcp test. The booklet we've been given advises to do it before eating and drinking so for that reason I think they reccomend early in the morning. Any bacteria left in your mouth from colds/food can contaminate results. You could also do it the night before I suppose, assuming you haven't eaten for an hour or so.
