A respected interpreter accused of defrauding the NHS with her pay claims has had the case against her thrown out by a court.
Rana Nuseibeh-Nasser, 48, of Anesbury Road, Penylan, Cardiff, had always denied doing anything wrong and a jury was directed by a judge to acquit her of all charges.
Prosecutors had alleged that because she had two employers – the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and ESOL(English for the Speakers of Other Languages) – she may have sometimes been paid twice for providing translation services for the same patient.
