I'm looking for a bit of a refresher and wondered to make sure i'm counting correctly what would your totals be for each of the following?

What would
1. your total CHO - Carbs &
2. your CP - Carbohydrate 'portion' unit of 10g
for each of the following be?

1. egg mayo filler on toast (1 x round)
22.3g per 50g slce brd

2. cheese & onion filler sandwich (2 x rnds bread) / crisps (1 x 25g bag) / cup soup
22.3g per 50g slce brd
13.2g per 25g bag crsps
12.9g per ptn soup

3. Asda bolognese pasta
75g per 1/4 pk

4. Chicago Town Four Cheese Pizza Takeaway Sauce Stuffed Crust
52g per 1/4 pizza

1. Egg Mayo on toast

If its just one slice of toast then it would be the carb value of that, for me anyway........so if its 22.3g of carbs per slice as it says, then you are having 22.3g CHO or 2 CPs

2. Cheese and Onion Filler Sandwich

2 rounds/slices is 22.3 x 2 = 44.6
1 bag of crisps is 13.2
I cup a soup is 12.3

So 44.6 + 13.2 + 12.3 = 70.1g CHO or 7 CPs

3.

How much did you have?
Was there sauce?

4.

Did you have the whole pizza?

In theory I agree with NRB.

However ......

Most bread packets lie. If you weigh the slices of bread, at least when it's Warburtons in waxed paper - they normally weigh less than 'their' 'average slice' stated on the packet. So two slices of large medium sliced white actually only work out about 30g CHO (3 CP) instead of nearly 38g. (4 CP)

And that my dear Scarlett - is one whole CP ....... and the difference between being hypo after the meal, or not .......

Also learned by bitter experience - Cuppa soups are usually not as many carbs as they say on the packet. Max I count for them is 10g CHO - 1 CP.

Pizza - whatever it is, usually need to split your bolus for that.

Thank you for replying / helping NRB.

Re 22.3g of carbs per slice as it says, then you are having 22.3g CHO or 2 CPs
This is exactly as i thought.

Re 2. Cheese and Onion Filler Sandwich
I've been adding things up but not putting the (point) .6 / .2 in & just sort of thinking well ermm that's 40g instead of 44.6 & 10g instead of 13.2, so thanks for refreshing me here.

Re 3. Asda bolognese pasta

I had about 1/4 of the pack / meal. (75g per 1/4 pk is what i got from the packaging)
I suppose there would be a type of sauce in this. It was a family ready
meal.

Re 4. Chicago Town Four Cheese Pizza Takeaway Sauce Stuffed Crust

I had about 1 x 1/4 of the pizza. (again 52g per 1/4 pizza is what i got from the packaging)
