I'm giving in today after the last 3 nights on the run of coughing my way through the night 😡. It's a catarrhal cough. I'm going shopping to get more lemon juice to go with the honey but i'm also getting a catarrhal cough medicine, maybe the one called Benylin. I know it's not sugar free but tbh sugar free would have me running to the loo.

Hope you're on the mend very soon Gill 🙂

I have it (Benylin Expectorant) - it is the only thing that shifts it for me. I haven't ever actually noticed it has that much effect on my BGs but there again I try not to take it during the day, just immediately pre-bed to enable us both to drop off.
