At risk of diabetes
Hi all,
I bought a Contour Plus Blue Meter recently. I am Prediabetic and whilst it's not necessary for Prediabetics to test blood sugars at home I thought I would keep an eye on them from time to time.

Presumably the Meter runs off an internal battery. Does anyone know how long it's likely to work for before it needs a replacement battery and are they easy to purchase and install?

Thank you.

Most meter batteries last ages and use standard cr2032 batteries that standard shops sell

Your instruction book should tell you which battery it uses, they are usually the flat button batteries but they will usually last many months. There is a battery compartment with a flip off cover on most monitors.
