Hi There

Just wondered if monitors actually went a bit wonky. My results have been so erratic of late and beginning to think it may be the monitor. Is there any way you can check?

Donna

Um, well there is the control solution but I guess you have checked that already. If you have, make sure it is not too old, I think you can get a new one from bayer. The only other way I can think of is to test with another meter and compare the results over a few tests - might be a bit of an expensive way of doing it unless you can get a free meter.

Do pharmacies or doctor surgeries do blood tests? Or perhaps if you know someone with a meter. Do a couple of checks one with theirs and one with yours. If they're in the same ball-park (+/- 20% or so), then you're probably OK.

I'd have thought the control solution was the best way to check though.

Andy 🙂
