I've just been to see the consultant and it's the usual result for me - which is generally stasis.

My HbA1c is down a touch to 5.7%

He's not brave enough to completely rule out LADA yet 🙄 But it's looking unlikely. Apparently I'm more likely to be a Type 2 with a heavy genetic component.

I'm now on 12 monthly appointments instead of 6, but still with 6 monthly HbA1c just in case I do suddenly have a quick decline. Recommended to move to minimum self testing: just when I feel ill or when having a new meal (but at least he still supports it).
