I've just a brilliant appointment with both my consultant and pump nurse (they do the appointment together for 30 minutes)...

Well no change in weight, BP fine even allowing for my white coat syndrome... Dip test clear etc...

My nurse checked my cannula sites and for any lumps, she was impressed no problems with sites and not one bump found which apparently is surprising for the length of time I've been diabetic..

And Well my consultant was beaming from ear to ear, according to him my control is amazing as he showed me on the computer screen, he was well pleased...

Had a natter about my thyroids, don't need a anything as I had tried thyroxine about 5 years or so ago, and I didn't get on with it... So he's happy as things are as he said, their function does move around a bit, so we keep monitoring them..

So with a 5.9% HbA1c and everything else fine, I'm well chiuffed

Glad the appointment went well. Congrats on the sub-6 A1c 🙂

Fantastic...well done Ellie! 🙂

Great results.....................well done.......🙂

Mind you there are times when you can throttle the OH though...

Not sure how it got around to my appetite, but my consultant asked me if I was a small eater and what my appetite was like... At this point my OH pipes up "If food was a optional extra she wouldn't bother with it" which my consultant found hilarious took several minutes to recompose himself from his fit of laughter...

I've been on my pump for 4 years now, looking back to then my life looked bleak indeed, with multi hypo's everyday, with rebound highs as I struggled to maintain some for of control with a pen, kidney's protesting not good at all.. The pump has made so much difference but also so much easier... As I can now get my insulin to do what it's supposed to do..

oh needs a good slap🙄 glad it all went well
