Why do you have to test? Is it 2 hrs before driving or no more than 2 hrs (that is, if it's more than 2 hours, you have to test)?
Yes 2hrs before and if driving more than 2hrs every 2 hrs.

Spireite are the DVLA aware you have stopped taking insulin?...just a thought...I think you do need to speak to them to get some clarity.
Not sure only got to glance at the letter as I was leaving for heart clinic didn't see any reason for licence change. The form had no section for change to medication or treatment. Trying to call them now but line busy. Getting really stressed but trying not too.

It's something that you can clear up Sprieite… so there's no need to get stressed...they would have made that decision on the information that was available to them at the time...now the circumstances have changed...no more insulin...a good report from the heart assessment team you can speak with them & get them to clarify the exact terms & conditions they have applied to...or will apply to your licence.

(I'm not actually a driver or involved with DVLA, this is just my understanding)
I thought you needed to have tested no longer than 2 hours before driving. If it's 2 hours since you last tests, and you start driving, then while you're driving you haven't tested in the last two hours.

[Edit] If it's up to 2 hours testing &
you could start at 90 minutes after, you get half an hour.

Just got off the phone with DVLA they agreed with me that my current treatment contradicts terms of medical license and are sending out a new forms so I can update my medication. She said it would all be sorted out and to keep my license until after they receive the new information and I should be kept on my full license. Such a relief thank you to all for the support and help.
